I think it's fine if the retention is removed. I think Bourque is a bit overrated because of his AHL success this year. He's the same age as guys like Zary who are already succeeding in the NHL. I am not calling him a bad prospect or anything like that though

But zary also went pro earlier I believe so he has more total experience

I think anything more would be getting greedy. IMO Bourque had a great year in the AHL, and he's a Center, a position we clearly lack in. He's worth at the very least a late 1st to the Flames.

Lunkvist is also progressing very nicely. He has a top 4 potential, and is worth a high 2nd at the very least.

That's not how a cap dump works. The pick is heading the wrong way for this to be a cap dump. IMO there will be a team interested in him willing to trade positive value for his services but Chicago would have no interest unless there was a pick attached.

I'm not calling him a bad prospect, I think he is about where expected, probably pans out as a 2nd line caliber player. I think if Calgary is trading Andersson they would not want to retain for 1 thing and if they were they would want a higher tier prospect or pick coming back

True but that would give us a out of this world top 4 arguably the best in the league, andersson plays big minutes and gets miro on his right side without sacrificing top pair offense I think those 2 would be a more offensive heavy duo then harley and miro were
