I don't think the Bruins should be interested in Compher. Nothing against the player but I don't think he offers so much more than Coyle that they should pursue him.

My thought is I’d rather have a 2nd version of Charlie than not have one.

My assumption would be a buyout is used or a dump. I would expect Yzerman to keep picks and buy him out if they want to move on from him.

I considered Copp instead but Compher is the better of the two and if we are sending you a legit starting goalie. I want the better of the 2.

Don't see Detroit having any interest in moving Compher. He is our 2C right now and no one is able to replace him. We would have to make multiple corresponding moves to accommodate this deal. Doesn't seem worth it from my point of view.

It’s better than the trades where people think Detroit would trade a 1st+ but I still don’t think Detroit would do it.

For as much **** as the Compher signing got, he produced well and was crucial for our PK.
