Well depending on how successful Davidson is in other offseason pursuits of players this is an offer Chicago may consider, especially is they need to add cap.

In my eyes Athanasiou and Armia is essentially a wash and getting a 2nd round pick with Dvorak is reasonable.

I know you were trashing the website I got the Matheson rumor from; so I stopped.
https://www.nhltraderumor.com/devils-canadiens-matheson-trade-rumors/
So you can't turn around and push the same website when it suits you:
https://www.nhltraderumor.com/montreal-canadiens-trade-rumors-alexander-holtz/

We both know it's trash and stupid - especially the Guhle for Holtz hehe.

So we can stop pretending that these rumors are anything but an 'AI click bait' hehe.

Cheers buddy!

I think it’s an interesting proposal, and you have to base your decision on corresponding moves and relative fit… (is AA going to provide as much value on the third/fourth line as those two?) , (Can they accept their roles and elevate the team like Foligno was requesting of Davidson?). Eventually I come to the same conclusion as both of you, that Chicago rejects… just not enough value in it for us.

Rumors site aside, I think Guhle for Holtz is good deal for both teams. No one needs to add a 1st.

So you'd feel comfortable giving Holtz for Guhle? It wouldn't hurt a bit giving Holtz for Guhle?

Usually, if it doesn't hurt a bit, that means that the trade isn't too fair.

You're right about adding a 1st either way. But Guhle has more value than Holtz at the moment.
But that is my own humble opinion. Just me. I totally might be wrong.

But thank you for the cordial dialog smile

They're both born in January 2002!
But Guhle is bigger and has more points in his career than Holtz already. As a defenseman.

You have to put yourself in GM Kent Hughes place. Do you give Guhle for Holtz 1-for-1 ? Probably not.
Cheers buddy

I know they want to move Harris and Struble…but the returns would be tiny. If they want to add another good young offensive player…Ghule gets that done.

Yeah. I just figure I'm not going to put effort into a lengthy response because half the time when I do it's met with, "you're an idiot." or "you don't know what you're talking about." or something along those lines, or they just continue to flap their jaw disregarding anything I have said. Not worth my time. But, yes, I completely agree. That was almost my exact same thought process.
