Absolutely no way Chicago accepts that. Huberdeau is older, paid more, has an additional year, and RD's are a lot harder to replace than a wing.

Seth Jones is overpaid by maybe a million. Barely a bad contract. Still a 1RD on majority of teams. Huberdeau took that new contract to the bank, booked a flight to the beach and already has his toes in the retirement sand. a Jones for Huberdeau trade would have to involve ALOT more coming back to the Hawks.

Jones contract is bad, Hubies contract is a toxic freight anchor. Best to just accept he's not going anywhere for a long time
