Description

If they can’t find the deal they want for Necas and they manage to keep him. Feel like they can if they actually give him the chance at center he wants. They’ll have to since they probably wouldn’t be able to afford a 2C along with him. Kind of have the same position as the team that they should listen around to see if they can get a good deal for him to maybe change some things up, but they shouldn’t take something that wouldn’t make them better next season. Really just proving a point that the canes don’t *have* to trade Necas.

They were, but it seems like the canes have offered a large chunk of money and SKA still isn’t budging. Not completely out of the question, but I’m not holding my breath.

Depends on how you manage Slavin and this years cap hit, it might be a smart thing to do. Now that Waddle is going, will you continue to be as cheap OR was that driven by him?

Jarvis as a bridge contract is going to cost you. Just like it’s costing Boston and Swayman this year vs last

With 8 out of 23 contracts. I’m just saying that deciding to do a bridge is going to cost you a lot of money in the future with that kid.

In 2021 they could’ve bridged Svech but decided to go 8 years instead, it would be cool if they could do something like that with Jarvis, but they didn’t has as many contracts due that offseason as they do this year. Yes it would be great to get him locked up now but they need to save as much money as they can this summer

Bruins would accept that I think. Drury helps with the faceoff issue and they get back into the top of the draft, even if the pick isn't especially high in the first round
