Other Wing fans probably love this but personally I would be opposed. In higher on Wallinder than most however.

Personally, as a Wings fan I am leery of Ullmark away from Boston d-core and system, good but not elite goalie. As such I won't want to pay the price that Boston will ask for him.

Ehlers trade for the Jets has to be include an impact Center or Defenseman and likely a 1st as well. They have no reason to move him during the contention window unless it markedly improves them in the long term.

I agree. I'm not looking to upgrade the goalie at all this offseason unless something cheap comes. Wallinder has top 4 potential and I'm hoping we see him for a few games next season.

Can't see Boston trading Ullmark in division.

The Kings trade may be revisited.

As a Boston fan who has watched him and Swayman carry the team, I’m not sure how you can look at the number of high danger chances allowed by the Bruins in the past two years and suggest he may struggle away from the d corp and system

The real question is how he will do without Bob Essensa who has turned Ullmark into a fundamentally sound player. Essensa is probably one of the two best goalie coaches in the league

I view Wallinder and Buium as about equal. I’d be open to either with the second round pick. Might be interesting

Brayden McNabb would be a great get, but my guess is you are tossing a 2nd or 3rd rounder along with Merkulov to get him. Too many teams have cap room for him to be a cap dump.

Thats a good point about coaching being something that cannot be understated. Him returning to Buffalo from wound not be in the wings interest to give up the Boston demand for him. Also, Detroit was way worse than Boston in High Danger Chances against, more the 10 more per 60, 21.3 vs 31.6

Ask WPG fans if they think they're getting a top6 forward or a top4 dman AND a 1st for Ehlers

A report recently came out that Ehlers is unlikely to extend and he will probably be shopped this offseason

Not much chance that the Jets trade Ehlers for futures only.
