What would you want from Calgary's cupboard?

theres nothing habs are going to get back from the flames or select with the 9th pick that will be worth more to them than landing one of the top forwards in the draft at 5

Iginla will be there at 9. Habs will want Demidov or Lindstrom at 5, don't honk Utah, Ottawa or Seattle take Iginla so they should be fine where they are

I cant see montreal trading down but maybe they get sharngovich with pick 9 for 5 and harris

If we were to trade up it'd be to draft Lindstrom or Parekh, not Iginla.

Samuel Honzek or Pelletier+

Still a top forward prospect are available at 9th, also I said I wouldn't trade back if Lindstrom is available.

I'd they're willing to depart from Samuel Honzek to move up I wouldn't see a problem of having Honzek + Sennecke/Eiserman (9OA)

But then again at that point CGY would really want to get Iginla to accept that offer

Yeah there's 0 chance they'd do that, our 2nd rounder would be about the best I'd offer

if Iginla is there i would rather just draft him

Calgary might be willing to throw in Mangiapane or a 2nd round pick but that's about it... Unless Lindstrom is still available then probably a bit more than that. If he is available then yeah 9th OA + Pelletier works for me.
