Also, TOR will not get a package this good for Marner, if there is no extension involved.

I'd trade Reichel, Phillips, and the 2025 1st for Marner with an extension in place, and not bat an eye.

Selke winner?? Uhhhh Marner has never sniffed the Selke. Regardless of how any of us feel about trading for Marner, it seems to me Davidson’s game plan is pretty clear. No cutting corners, no forcing a square peg in a round hole. Build the core through the draft. Once the core is in place, then start opening up the piggy bank to supplement what is needed.

Credit for not being another Marner for Jones but this deal isn't happening either.
