How so?
Two bridge deals that line up Seider and Razor to potentially get huge long term raises at the same time, limiting flexibility.
Trading Burgers for change of scenery D that doesn’t have the upside once current prospects make it up. Detroit’s weakest prospect position is winger, so JB is more valuable to Detroit than another D who will have to compete with Tuomisto, Gibson.
Bringing in Broberg while taking in Soup. A LHD that is going to battle with Albert Johansson, William Wallinder, Shau Buium. Biggest loss here is burying that much for that long.
Getting rid of Walman for a price you could probably attain from Maata. How quickly people forget he was the Wings best D for good portions of last season and this year prior to injury.
Bringing back a player who SY didn’t want to give term to, wanted too much for what he brought back, and save for this year hasn’t been available for long stints.
Don’t know enough about Joshua but that feels like a regrettable contract. Wouldn’t mind Chatfield though.
Danielson, Kasper, Soda all making the team (especially Soderblom considering Berggren was the best Griffin by a landslide and he apparently isn’t any good).
