Roslovic Trades
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>Cholowski for Roslovic period, Yzerman isn't dealing McIsaac after his 2nd injury in as many year. McIsaac's progression is seriously going to be hampered.</div></div>
The shoulder was a thought, that’s why McIsaac’s included with a 4th round lotto pick added. I understand the current damaged goods label making him very unlikely to be traded at the moment, but he is still a decent prospect and could still develop. Jonatan Berggren basically sat out two seasons before his breakout this year. Maybe swap McIsaac for Gustav Berglund instead. Also, Filppula has a full no move clause until January 31st, when he submits an 8 team no trade list, so he’d have to agree to any trade and waive.

Roslovic Trades
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NoDeke</b></div><div>I like jack for Cholo even if we need to give a little extra. Jack would probably work out quite nice with the wings.
So you don’t think seider is going to play with the wings?</div></div>
Yzerman has confirmed the agreement being Veleno and Seider won’t return until after their respective SHL seasons have completed. Which ends early March and playoffs beginning mid March. Seider is playing for Rögle, a club currently near top of standings so he likely will be playing into April. Maybe he makes NHL debut playing a few games near the end of Wings season.

No youngsters plan
For a no youngsters plan, that’s a pretty young 3rd D pairing. It sounds like Stevie is looking to add another Dman thru UFA. Bobby Ryan is going to get opportunity playing in top 6, Gagner is 3rd line RW/scratch. I see Nielsen as a scratch most night this year along with Erne.

Hopefully he stays good at stopping pucks and it should be no problem, Wings well known as first rate organization that cares of players and their families

I don’t think the Red Wings have interest in either of those players. Maybe Loui with two 2nds or prospect/pick

Detroit Red Wings signed Thomas Greiss (2 Years / $3,600,000 AAV)
I think the Wings were in on Markström as plan A but Calgary ultimately offered an extra year term and perhaps a better opportunity to win. It also seems Stevie had to go a little higher on the AAV than expected to sign Greiss in effort to outbid any other teams who might’ve been involved and he wasn’t willing to lose out on him since the options have gotten much slimmer. I’m fine with the signing.

I’d be very surprised if he stayed in Austria. It would be a step down from the AHL. How is that any good for his development. The reason he’s in Austria and not the SHL is bc he’s coming to Detroit.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jfstompers</b></div><div>I dont mind the other guys but rass is a pro season ahead of those guys. With our entire bottom 6 being essentially gone at the end of the season I'd like to see him. I don't mind veleno or lindstrom or the others staying there</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Old_Snowman</b></div><div>Rass along with most of the other prospects (Veleno, Seider, Lindstrom, McIssac) are likely to spend the year in Europe...See them in 2021. I believe Steves plan is to fill the roster with vets on 1 year deals for this season. Which in all honesty isn't a bad idea.</div></div>
Rass and Lindstrom are playing in Austria men’s league and Allsvenskan respectively. Both those leagues don’t require them to stay the full season. Same with Zadina in Czech league. So I think it’s telling that they weren’t loaned to higher leagues like SHL or Liiga. So maybe all three will be in training camp with a shot to make the team. Zadina will be for sure on Wings. Rass and Lindstrom maybes. I’d like to see Rass in Detroit tuo.

More opportunity for minutes is my guess. Glendening and Gagner are the only right shot forwards currently, and now Ryan.. Ryan was likely sold on getting PP time (maybe even promised?). Hopefully he plays well enough to interest a contender at the next deadline. Not a terrible situation for Ryan to keep proving himself again.

Usually people that waive NTC are on teams that are selling, rebuilding.
I'm sure TB will figure it out, but will be interesting.</div></div>
Great points haha. The players leaving money on the table bc of the state income tax thing is a real kicker. Without options, maybe they’re forced to end up selling the RFA’s for big returns?
Yeah gonna be interesting for sure, can’t wait for the dominoes to begin falling!

Now I’m really hoping they acquire Flower. So you cry.
Same time now I’m hoping Canes keep status quo, so again, tears. Cut out the Canes from the trade, it’s fine. Or read in description, I acknowledged two seconds from each team was potentially too much. I also acknowledged this post as being unrealistic.

Gourde/Johnson/Coburn. Players seem to be waiving clauses more often these days, but it gives the players some say to choose their next situation.

Sergachev is a #1.

MAF will still be on a good team. MAF is still a better goalie than Reimer regardless of numbers, age, and contract. Replace Reimer with Mrazek idc. Just trying to get the Canes a goaltender who can win more than one playoff series. It’s an unlikely scenario, but not crazy either.. and only if Canes lose out on Kuemper, Markström, and Lehner.
Or just run it back with Reimer and Mrazek and get bumped from playoffs again idc.

Sergachev is a #1. 22 years old (same as Hronek) and just scratching surface still. Essentially in the age/special player range Yzerman said he’d trade for
