Well clearly his 10 straight sub 0.890 games to end the year really raised his stock.

1. His play declined.
2. He only waived for one team.
3. He has 2 years, not 3.
4. There is no retention (February trade had retention)

24-25: decent value
25-26: Cap dump at 6 mill and age 36 (the goalie aging curve is STEEP once you hit the mid 30s)

Markstrom has a full NTC and he already waive to Nj so you dont hold much power. Good idea trade Holtz before we get a Coach who can actually play him liek he should be and not glued to the bench or 4th line. Love it, cant wait for him to score 30 again and Fitzy looks stupid once again. you will get maybe a first and a mid prospect but thats still overpaying for a 34 yr old goalie.
