I think Berggren is an interesting option and your asking price is more then fair however, I think the Hawks really need to look at adding some size to their forward group.

I think Berggren is worth more than your asking price. I understand what @Snowhawk18 is getting at with size but this may be too good to pass up.

I agree and would definitely be willing to make this move if there are additional “size” additions up front.

For example, bringing in someone like Mantha as a FA to immediately address the lack of size and drafting Lindstrom with 2OA if they don’t win the draft lottery to be an answer for the future. Both bring skill as well as size so they should be able to contribute in the top six.

Honestly, this doesn't seem like a move Kyle from Chicago would make. Trading a top 70 pick for a soon to be 24 y.o. not really a prospect anymore guy. I'm a fan of Berggren's skill set, but he hasn't been able to grab a consistent spot in Detroit's lineup for a reason. And I totally agree w/ Snowhawk's size concerns as well.
