Hawks say no and he's not overrated at all. He's actually one of the most UNDER-rated players in the entire NHL. If he played 1 less game last year...he'd be eligible for Calder Votes and he's currently the Hawks best defensive Dman.

The only gamble here is Kyle Davidson gambling with his career if he made a trade this dumb.

As a sharks fan even I say no on behalf of the Blackhawks, even if the Chicago 1st was 32nd and sharks 1st OA that’s still a no.

Honestly If Vlasic would waive his NMC and Chicago take him I would give up a high pick (not our 1st Obviously) for FC, this trade is just not in the realm of realistic IMHO

I don't know...why are we bothering giving up assets to dump Pickles' contract when we don't need the cap space? I'd rather not have him take a roster spot from a prospect, but unless it was like a 7th or something I see little to no benefit to doing something like it.

Free up cap space and a spot on the roster is ideal but yea no point in wasting assets.
