Assuming the Panthers re-sign Reinhart in the $10MM range they'll have about $10MM left over to sign a minimum of six regulars (5F, 1D) plus maybe a BUG (depending on what they do with Knight); they'll also need one to three 13/14F & 7D types. If they decide to bring back Montour and/or Stolarz, that's another big chunk of cap space gone. They don't seem to have anyone else to re-sign who's going to require a huge raise, but that's a lot of bodies to fit in not much cap space. It's not out of the question that Eetu is a guy they move to make some room for multiple cheaper guys.

I am not as against acquiring PLD, I don't believe 1 bad seaso will hurt his valueas much as many others on here do and I would much rather have him on the ice producing over Dach in the stands taking up cap and a contract spot. So much so that I would trade them 1 for 1 lol
