Description

Is it realistic? No. Would it be awesome? Yes. Has Danny B shown he can make crazy moves to make the team better now and in the future? See Drysdale, Walker, Fedotov. For all the Sens fans that will inevitably say it’s not enough for them, good luck getting a team to pay more than 4 1sts and 3 2nds worth of equivalents, it won’t happen and is probably too much frankly lol. To Anaheim fans, it’s probably not enough for Zegras but his value is so hard to gauge depending on if he wants out or not. To the Ersson haters, the team ran him out of gas blame Hart, Petersen, and Sandstrom for forcing Ersson to play way too much for months. He will be a starting goalie in the league or at minimum a very good 1A/1B so if ur ready to write him off get lost.

Farabee has played both in the past and while there’s been no concrete reports about it there’s been loads of speculation and the issues with contracts definitely heightens that. Flyers reports have said that they checked in on Zegras so it’s not out of left field to think something could happen.

Probably yeah but I mean how else do you get a superstar like Brady without overpaying and u also get a player that would probably look way better on defense in Torts’ system without giving up TK.

I don’t see them moving Foerster I mean he is neck and neck with Bedard for top of the rookie goal scorers. He’s not getting moved he’s basically the only future top 6 young player they have. Frankly replacing Foerster with Farabee to that trade, given Zegras’ injuries and lack of defense, makes that way too much.

1: Speculation from outsiders. If he didn't want to be here that much, he wouldn't have signed a multi year deal, he would have forced his way out. Staying somewhere you don't want for three years is a hell of a long time in reality.

2: a natural right winger, one of Foerster or Tippet, not a left shot guy who's occasionally played RW, after all, you're acquiring a 1C, it's going to cost premium assets.

I'd put zamula and bonk plus those 4 picks instead.

Frankly I’m not a fan of Frost. He’s a low-end 2C at best. I like Brink a lot and think he has 2nd line potential, but if ur trading for a superstar then you trade 2nd liners for him all day. Zamula is worth nothing so that’s useless. Tippett and Foerster being on the 2nd line for this team makes Brink expendable if Brady and TK are your top line.

I’m not trying to be rude but there’s if u want Foerster or Tippett ur probably maybe getting a 2nd on top of that. Zegras has barely played all year because of injuries and is a defensive liability. His value has only gone down the last year or so. I wouldn’t move either of them for Zegras personally and I think it would cost less than what you think to get him but we can agree to disagree.

It's something he's worked on significantly this season, to the point where it's night and day different from the last two years. No, he's never going to get Selkie votes, but he's at the point where he's no longer an outright liability on defense.

Ottawa passes on that.... Ottawa spent a 1st rounder on DeBrincat, and Chychrun... Ottawa obviously isn't looking for futures. Staios has already said Tkachuk won't be going anywhere. To get Brady you'd be having to give up a major piece off your regular roster to even get a convo started.

Ottawa says no. I'm sorry but some 3rd liners, a late first and a mid first in a weak class is just not getting it done. Bonk is the only player of value to us in that trade. While Frost is great he'd be behind Pinto and Timmy and I'd still rather have Greig over him. Brink doesn't do anything for us.

Take out Frost + Brink and include Michkov and we'll talk.

Well the only major piece on our roster is TK and he’s kept Brady’s scoring pace so that wouldn’t even make sense to include him and then everyone else is talent wise is probably at Frost’s level and then Brink and Bonk are too solid rated prospects. Quite frankly Matt Tkachuk got less than what I’m offering, Brady isn’t getting more if moved lol.

It’s not how much value you’re giving up but more so the direction of the Sens if they move Brady. If they move Brady they want youngsters

Nothing you offered makes our team better than Brady does, and nothing has the potential to be better than him so it'd be pointless for us to even entertain that. Cutter was your only young player who would've made a trade for Brady realistic for us and Michkov is obviously untouchable so there's no deal to be made for Brady.
