Samuelsson is a nice piece. I would rather package him with another nice piece (or two), and trade for something really nice. That's pretty much the point of this site- offering quantity for quality (I am however, acknowledging this and saying "with other good pieces").

Norris trade is tough to unpack but is Jarry that much better than Forsberg? Enough to justify 3m more and rostering almost 10m of goaltenders for the next 4 years? I’m not convinced. Would rather see Ottawa pay for Ullmark, Swayman or even Saros.

Don’t think Ottawa would be interested in Smith very much, even with retention but the fact that they’re adding a third… if that’s how low the value has dropped on Norris then they 100% keep him.

I’d pass without really thinking twice about it.
