There are rarely young potential 1C player on the trade market. That's why I think it's actually bad for them long-term to be playing this good because there are rarely any young 1C potential players on the trade market and you'd have to be really lucky to get one by drafting in the 14-18 range.

Reinhart, Lindholm…both can play center but would be high AAV.

It's possible MN shops Rossi this summer. Not a 1C yet, but he does have the potential and I actually think Torts would like him.

Norris's injury history combined with his massive contract makes him pretty unappealing, but if sens would retain on that contract maybe he could be more appealing to teams, but I doubt sens want to retain on his contract for 6 years

i get that, its comes with risk. dont they would retain, but thats the point i guess of trying to get a potential 1c. You wont really get the player you want and you sort of have to take a gamble with a player (overpay for potential, pay a player with health issue, etc)

I'm not sure to be honest - a pick doesn't make much sense to me, but if that's what they want, I'd suspect it's something around his same draft position (9th). Maybe PIT deals 9th or 10th.

I don't personally see why they would trade him, but our beat reporters have been speculating on it lately. It wouldn't shock me if they moved him.
