Only trade of interest is the Washington trade. The Sens would want a 1rst++ if they had to part with Chychy. Why part with Kastelic if you don't have to? The Fast trade could be interesting, but I don't see why the Sens would give up a 4th on top of Branny, but I think it's interesting.

Also not sure we get more than that for Chychrun, also not a fan of Kastelic and Rees has to go on waivers next year so i dont want more than a 22 man roster

So, if we don't get more than that, we don't trade him. He's only 4.6M. We can make it work. A mid-late first isn't worth it. I can understand the 22 man roster thing though.

I’d do Branny for Fast 1 for 1! Think we could get a little more back for Chychrun but if the pick is say 15/16 overall id might bite! Take Kasty out though, keep him for depth.

I like that WSH trade a lot for both sides. OTT really should just throw $5m at the best goalie coach available though, feel like its getting to the point where it can't be that every guy they bring in suddenly becomes the worst in the league

I truly don’t believe Pageau is a cap dump, but for the sake of financials any deal involving Chychrun probably means some salary has to go back. Everything Lou and Staios said to the media post deadline sounds to me like something will be revisited in the summer. I could definitely see Chychrun to NYI happening

I would love to have Pageau back at 3C or 3RW but not at 5 mill
