Listen Crouse is good and on a good deal but, he's not 3 1st rounders + in value good. I'd say Rosen and the 1st is fair, Quinn is overkill

You are probably right, but it's gonna take a overpay to get him IMO. I really like both players I am including. But we need a Crouse more for what he could bring then they do. We have a plethora of good prospects built the same way.

Probably right, but I would rather keep Kulich. He's a better skater and has a much better shot.

If a player requires an overpayment to acquire than he's probably not available.
Honestly though Arizona's problem is their Defense outside of Durzi and Kesselring they need major changes their Forwards are actually pretty good and I don't see them changing too much outside of acquiring a Center

Well hard to tell if it's a overpayment until all the pieces are actually doing something in the NHL

If you want him you are gonna have to pay for him. This will never happen, but IMO he would help push this team farther along than the other 2. I like Quinn, and he's very talented but he's got Question marks surrounding him.

Fair enough but, trades are a world of hypotheticals and as long as a prospect maintains steady-ish improvement than their 1st round value doesn't leave until they make it to the league

Very true, but I know what I am getting with Crouse right know. He would have a field day standing in front for our PP. Kid could easily score 35 here. I know I am overpaying a bit, but I think it makes us better.

We call players drafted 9 years ago kids now?

He's a slightly younger, slightly less expensive josh anderson

Crouse is 26, and Anderson sucks at Defense and doesn't bring what he used to.

Turns 27 before next year. Older than Skinner when we acquired him. Older than Anderson when Montreal acquired him

Well he makes half of Skinner and brings double what Anderson does right know. You can't have a Team of all Perimeter pu$$ies. It might get you to the playoffs, but that's a whole different animal and the Sabres IMO aren't built right for that. Crouse helps me get there.

His game is about to fall off a cliff, like most players who play his style and he isn't exactly prime Brendan Shanahan. The price paid is silly. If you are insistent on pretending it's still the 1980s in the NHL add another asset and get brady tkachuk

I doubt CHI would even give up a 2nd for Joker with an extension in place, let alone for just his negotiating rights. But I am not opposed to CHI re-acquiring him, I just doubt they do it.

Yeah, I tend to agree. Just did that pick cause it's gonna basically be a 3rd. And he's played well so it was worth a swing.

How is this the 1980's, Crouse is a good skater for a man his size, good Defensively, can score, can play the PP PK. And he's a Bulldozer that I am pretty sure will last the rest of his Contract. And yes I have No problem going for Tkachuk, but his game could fall just as quick with the way he plays. And I don't need him to be Shanahan, not that it would be bad, I just need him to compliment all the Soft Talent on my Team and make them Harder to play against.
