No Wallstedt?? He is the #1 goalie prospect. Also Yurov just set the U-21 KHL points record. He should be on here.

Hutson and Cowan have no business anywhere near such a thing.

HUtson is one of the best NCAA prospects rn. Cowan has a 24 game point streak in the OHL plus he has 77 points in 50 games in the O

Dude, there are Dmen just in college hockey who are easily better NHL prospects than Hutson, let alone the rest of the prospect world. And doing well in junior or college is not the same thing as being one of the best prospects. I'm not saying they're not good prospects. But among the very best? Really? You think Hutson is a better pro prospect than Simashev? Edvinsson? Even like a Lindstein or ShakMukh? Not seeing it, man.

Matvei Michkov
Danila Yurov
Will Smith
Ryan Leonard
Gabe Perreault
Brad Lambert
Gavin Brindley

Would take all those guys over Bourque, Cowan, Savoie…
Maybe even Nadeau, Nazar, Lund, Moore too

On defense, I would sub out Hutson and Clarke for Luke Hughes and Brock Faber.

Under 50 games played, Hughes and Faber have played more than 50 games. I had a brain fart and was forgetting so many good prospects when i was making this lol

Great season…but some of the post-draft guys still in juniors can be a mirage. Hard to pin ‘em down.

Which is why that doesn't make sense

Has a 25 goal, 97 points, in 68 games season.

Gets passed on, and doesn't get taken till the last pick of the 2nd round in last year's draft. Despite being a clear 1st round talent. Cowan by comparison was picked 28th OVA while having had a worse season. Buy he's the better* prospect.

Now Heidt is in his D+1 season, and he already has 31 goals, 95 points, in 54 games played. Well on pace for over 100+ points. While Cowan will be lucky to break 90.

Cowan the last two seasons had 53 points at the time of his draft, and 77 so far this year.

Which is the mirage, again? 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
