Trenin would be very useful on this team but not for the price of Soderblom. The 3rd is value enough for him.

Soda is a bad skater, id be surprised if he amounts to anything but I can wait. If they want trenin who I like they can get him with just a pick

You could also move Lauzon to, Devils would be in on him, could package Lauzon and Saros to NJ for a super overpay(wont happen)

Soda could use his size and not have to be a great skater but the way the league is going, you need to skate. I think that's why we see alot of high end talent get over looked in the draft. Cristal is a perfect example, boat loads of skill, not the best skater, drafted in the second round when he had mid first projections.

He is more physical but is he really that much better defensively? Copp's production is better and regular production from our 3rd and 4th lines is why we are still in the hunt for a playoff spot.

I was pissed when Stevie didn't move up to grab him, then move back in the draft as well. I know more kicks at the can is a good thing but we have missed out on a few players by doing that, mostly thinking of Faber.

He's better than Fischer I think and would insulate for injuries. I'm not really much of a fan of Kostin anymore, was excited when we got him but I'm just kind of meh on him now. Defensive side of the game is always hard to judge but I think he would help alot.

As others have said you'd have to add to Carrier for the Leafs to consider moving Lili. At least adding a 2nd maybe more.
