That would be a ridiculous package for Guentzel. Perreault is a very good prospect with a high chance of being at least a middle line player at the NHL level based on his freshman year in the NCAA. He could probably transition to the NHL after his NCAA season next year. I really don't think it is reasonable to expect a better trade than this.

Perreault is a great prospect but he's a boom or bust player. He's either a legit top 6 60 points winger or never has a career. That risk means Rangers likely have to add to him for Guentzel and I agree with the guy above, the add is likely a 1st

He's a decent prospect, but he is what he is, a prospect. He either pans out or he doesn't. You know what Guentzel IS though? A bonified point per game star winger. It's a 1st+

Him being a rental doesn't change a whole lot considering rentals can still go for big prices. And someone of Guentzel's caliber should be no different.
