Remove Bonino as his cap hit can be buried by NY. I agree that Johnson and Raddysh are good fits for the rangers, but it's going to cost at least a late 2nd (more likely mid to early 2nd) in addition to those two to bring Kaapo back in the deal.

I guess I did lean it in the hawks favor, but Kakko only has 6pts in 28 games or something like that. Raddysh is only 25 and Johnson has 2 cups and is a good 3c

Johnson is gone one way or another & Raddysh has been supremely disappointing, so moving them both is fine. but other than that I would not be in favor of this. Bonino is on an expiring contract, no reason to acquire him. Kakko was rushed to the NHL before he was ready & has suffered mightily because of it . Rangers will want a return that is an overpay because they used such a high draft pick to get him. It is more speculation than fact that he can develop into a top 6 player at this point.

Kaapo, IMO, is worth a late 1st or mid to early 2nd at this point. He's been a pretty big bust by definition. However, I think with a team with patience that isn't competing, gives he and the owning team the best shot at getting the most out of him. Now that might only end up being a 3rd line winger, but the Hawks lack RW prospects obviously so IMO it's worth a flyer and trading raddysh, Johnson and a mid to early 2nd.
