At the end of the day, I think I’d be reasonably happy with that roster.

DNVR is going to make me vomit with the amount of nonsense Monahan trades that are going to show up.

I mean if you would rather, you could just go Monahan for a 1st + 3rd or Monahan for Ritchie + 6th, Habs don't need to take RyJo or Meyers off your hands

I think habs would be happy to get RYJO back with a conditionnal 1st round pick. He seems like a prime candidate to be flipped at the 2025 TD, at 50% retained.

But If you are looking for depth for the playoffs- I don't get why you would trade him out prior to the offseason.

Those are both pretty bad as well. Maybe someone will do that, but I would not. Ritchie for a rental would be laughable.

RyJo is one where I’m really curious about what his trade value is. I don’t think he’s a pure dump necessarily, but it’s obviously not an ideal contract.

Also lol at taking Meyers off our hands. Dude is pretty decent, just stuck in the AHL because he has one game left of waiver eligibility. He’d be on many team’s rosters right now.

Especially since it's even more unlikely than Lindy was. Monahan is not enough of an upgrade over RyJo to make it worth it for the Avs to acquire; he just doesn't fit.

My apologies on Meyers I was thinking he was a LHD when I added that and I only meant taking him off your hands in the sense that we don't need any more LHD

Nope he’s a C prospect that had a pretty good college career with some hype. He actually looked alright last year despite his counting stats being bad. Avs had like a 5.6% SH% with him on the ice. I imagine he’d get multiple waiver claims, which I think is the only reason why he’s been stuck in the AHL this year.

Can't wait for monahan to get traded to Boston for a 2nd rd pick so we can stop seeing these terrible trade offers
