Kuzmenko does make sense as they can flip him at next year's deadline to acquire more assets to the long term rebuild. Zadarov's deal expires at the end of the season and I imagine is being used as cap dump and Kuzmenko to pay for it. This makes sense for both teams.

No, but if Vancouver is shopping Kuzemenko and there is a lot of reason to suggest he is, I could see Chicago saying they would be interested for a 3rd or 4th or alternatively would take on Zadarov as a cap dump.
