If Dubas offers that deal to Winnipeg, I say Chevy accepts, but I doubt Pit would want to retain that much for that long.

I really can't see Chevy messing with one of the best defenses in the league to add a defenseman that is bad at actually playing defense.

Neal Pionk is no Rod Langway, and Bones made him better. Our powerplay is horrible, he'll be great in that regard, and Bones would simply coach Karlsson up and improve his defensive game.

Yeah, you would hope he could help Karlsson's D, but at this cost I don't think it is worth the risk of messing up what the Jets have.

Pionk had some defensive ability, Karlsson really has none. I like Karlsson, but he's just too risky, certainly at that cost anyway.
