If we sell out for Lindy and Tanev, just throw 'em Kuz, Pod and double down on conditional firsts. Especially with 2x retention it would have to be a big offer.

Dont really see a reason for MTL to do that. Take Xhekaj out and theyll likely take on some cap for a pick.

Van needs to add in the CGY trade a bit. I think the trade is Raty, Brustewicz, '24 1st Rounder + 3rd Rounder. Condition: 3rd Round pick becomes a 25' first if Canucks win the cup, or if both players re-sign.

Take the CGY pick out and keep both half retained.

Pay MTL a 4th to retain 1M in salary. (Similar value for past salary retention deals.)

Trade is a good fit for all teams here IMO if Calgary is in fact selling.
