The 2024 1st is a nice piece, but ultimately not what the Canes need in a return for Jarvis. The two players don't make the roster and are of no interest.

Your better off drafting a prospect who might or might not pan out than a guy who is already blossoming into a star?

Jarvis is just breaking out this year and that's great but yes if rather draft a Lindstrom or Demidov. Both those players have higher ceilings than Jarvis and the chance you take with the draft.

Also don't think Carolina laughs at this offer. It's essentially something that would be on the same level offer that MTL would make for Zegras who's the better player.

Xhekaj and Ylönen don't make the roster and we won't take on any players who are just prospects. The canes are in win-now mode and we need scoring help.
