This year, not really. But he’s playing top pair minutes. On a team like Dallas where he plays 2nd to 3rd pair minutes and PK he will be effective. There’s also retention involved which boosts his value.

If you see Brodie on the PK in Dallas it won't be for long. He can't clear an 90 year old from in front of the net. He doesn't win puck battles, has zero physical play and no offensive ability. What he does well is flop around on the ice hoping that it stops a pass.

He's been really unreliable this year. A lot of lapses in judgment that weren't seem previously.

Could be not 100% mentally because his father passed away over the offseason and that's not easy to get over. But I'd really rather Keefe take his minutes down and give him less strenuous assignments before making him a pariah. Could be a decent 1-2 million guy next season.
