I see Flyers fan ****ting on Laughton all the time and the expectation seems to be that they'll trade Walker.

Leafs need a shake up - why not make a trade that benefits both teams for this season?

I'm assuming here that Bertuzzi would wave his NMC to play for another playoff team, and that the Flyers think it's a safe bet that he rebounds in a different environment. He's had big seasons and a big playoffs last year.

Flyers fans are probably hoping for a 1st round pick, but Bertuzzi has value and is a safe bet for playoff depth. I think he has more value than Walker and Laughton probably doesn't get a 1st. Leafs may need a different package (Robertson? Picks? Prospects?) to make this work but the base of the trade idea is:

Actually I wonder if the Flyers would be interested in Kampf.
Fans might not be too keen but he's been very good defensively up until this year, so I could see the Flyers org viewing him as a reliable replacement for Laughton

If the Flyers make trades, it will be for pieces to help now and in the future.
Drysdale was a great deal because it helped them now and in the future.
Two late 20’s guys, especially when the guy of value is nothing more than a rental, isn’t going to grease any wheels.

Bertuzzi is the worst player in that trade and he is a pending UFA so I don't think Philly entertains this,

signed laughton at 3mil is worth more than ufa bertuzzi at 5.5mil and walker (in his current state) is worth ALOT more than waiver wire lagesson, and a 3rd doesn;t bring it close, Leafs are adding a ton more, because this deal does nothing for PHI.

PHI doesnt want bertuzzi or lagesson, so theres really nothing there

TORONTO is a bad trading partner for the Flyers. The only valued assets TOR has to the Flyers is a #1 pick or Knies, thats it. These constant trades on here only help TO they do nothing for the Flyers. So unless a trad starts with either of those 2 assets.....please stop!!!!! Nielmala, Mitten, Robertson all crap........

No Kampf at 2.4mil at 30 yrs old is a downgrade from 25 yr old RFA Poehling at 1.4mil, who actually has hands. I like Kampf, but he is a 4th line guy, good PK, but not physical and possesses very poor hands
