Peeke and vrana are pure cap dumps and would cost assets to move even with retention, especially peeke and especially to a cap team

Yeah, Vrana at 50% is a move of maybe 20 draft spots in STL favour, but its getting rid of a headache that they got for free, but hes expiring and does score. Its a small investment.

Peeke, maybe. I like his game, hes just 25 yrs old, hes more on the physical side and stay at home and 2 5ths didn;t seem like a ton. Hes been surpassed by more opffensive RD in CBS, but a 4th is probably his value

Flyers have no need for Samsonov we have Hart, Ersson, Petersen, Sandstrom, even in a cap dump trade I doubt they’d take it

lol at the idea that Peeke costs assets to move. He's a 25yo defensive RD who's been squeezed out by better players in Columbus (yes, even the Worst Team In The League can have good players! Weird, I know). He might have less value than his original draft position (a second) but he is not a negative asset even with his contract. Even if he doesn't get moved til this summer when the cap goes up, Columbus will not be paying anything to do so.

Flyers will part with guys like Walker, Seeler, etc. but Briere is taking picks or prospects. If a cap dumps included, best believe that pick is gonna be a 1st or it’s a good prospect.

Agreed, if we are taking Samsonov back and retaining on Walker we would need a 1st in return.
