Description

Big signings are Forsling and Roy for the D...you bring back Benoit and hope Liljegren takes a step forward. You run with Woll, Akhtiamov, and Hildeby if needed in net. You still have some cap flexibility, and could potentially sign another forward like Domi, or Noesen...otherwise you hope the kids can hold their own. I am pretty high on Cowan to make an impact, I think Grebenkin will be fine too (he is physical). Time will tell on Minten and Holmberg. We could still use a little more power in the line-up.

Signing later 20s Forsling and Roy to long contracts looks long term iffy.
Yeah the Leaf will be replacing Giordano, Brodie and Klingberg......that 9m in cap with other players, but spending 14m on two players seems unwise.

So what would you suggest? You need a strong defence to win a cup. Furthermore Forsling and Roy are in their prime...Dmen are often at the top of their game between 27 and 32. Sure the tail end of these deals might not be great but we are trying to win a cup.
