agree with both of these in that i think the jets would benefit greatly from a true top 6 2C, and that the defence has been playing well so no need to mess with it. so i’d rather just trade for lindholm. the price would be cheaper, cap hit more palatable and an easier time fitting the lineup together

The specific reason for posting this trade was due to the Jet's need for PK help, Lindholm on both special teams would be a help. Hard to trade any roster players as this team seems to be an actual "team". Some of the payment would rely on the attitude of Lindholm to be open to re-signing in Winnipeg, if that is not an option I think the 1st or Lucius would not be added. Tanev seems like a guy that would fit in, add something missing a little bit since Buf and the size left in one off-season.
