Quoting: Claesson4Norris
Dean Evason is literally ready at a moment's notice waiting for a new gig. Would completely change how this team plays.
I don't care how much the players like him, you simply cannot win with this coach. The two most definable themes of his tenure are 1) absolutely fall apart in the 2nd period and 2) they very simply do not come back when they're trailing heading into the 3rd period. With out exaggeration. Don't know what his current record is, but at one point a few months a go his actual record then trailing after 40 minutes was 8-100-1. Like what do you even do with that?
Maybe St Louis will fire Craig Berube or something, because if Dean Evason isn't good enough a replacement, I don't know what Ottawa's waiting for. Been clear for years DJ is not that guy.

The funniest thing is you’d expect the new management/ owners to use their brains or heads. My biggest pain:
Yeha Evason is right there screaming at you… but even bigger.
Jay Woodcroft, barring anything we don’t know, is the most obvious candidate. Maybe it’s a bigger gamble then Dean, but Woodcroft knows how to handle a team full of talent, he literally got fired because of bad goaltending and now on this massive oilers streak they’ve got amazing goaltending.
I mean I really like Dean and think he’s fits well; but Woodcroft could help get this team in gear, they just seem to be falling flat of their offensive ceiling every game.
I used to criticize Quinn, but Grier and Quinn have done with the Sharks is truly amazing, we’re not an elite team. But man these comebacks and the 8-7-2 record since the 20-3, it’s been remarkable.
you’re right at Evason is the prob best choice, but Woodcroft is not a bad backup plan.
