Its an extension...not a separate contract. So take the % retained and apply to all years at time of trade.

2023-24: $6 million ($2 million retained by MIN)
2024-25: $4.125 million ($1.375 million retained by MIN)
2025-26: $4.125 million ($1.375 million retained by MIN)

Not many guys with mult-year deals have been traded within 8 months of signing....let alone with retention. Can probably count 'em on one hand.
