The Sharks wouldn't do that even without Ferraro included. Why give up a 2nd round pick (potential 1st) for a 33 yo who doesn't fit the rebuild, an ok prospect playing in the ECHL and two 5ths? I'd rather just keep the pick, hope NJ makes the conference finals and take a shot at drafting someone better than Voit.

Minten does not belong in a deal with Tanev. Too strong a prospect for a middle pairing D.

If they got Barrie I’d stop being a Leafs fan. They just faked a Klingberg surgery to get out of that and you want to add a smaller, less physical version?

I don‘t WANT to add Barrie. I just worked with him, because he is allowed to talk to other teams. And he is familiar with the environment and played a lot better under Keefe than Babcock. Since Klingberg is gone, the Toronto powerplay is a predictable mess again, overpassing menthality first. Because Rielly is not good enough as quarterback, besides his strong season. Slow, often wrong decisions and no point shot.

A „less physical version of Klingberg“? That is not possible. And besides that: IF I bring someone like Barrie in I don‘t want physicality. Thats why Tanev is in. Toronto lacks someone, who can make an outlet pass. The connection and rush chances are underwhelming. Also look at the points from the D over the last years. It is aweful.
