Switch Lambert for Lucius and have Lindholm agree to extend, and you’ve got a deal with WPG.. don’t even need the retention

True but the real value for Zads is about that. At TDL its probably a stupid amount more. Would not surprise me to see the Leafs somehow take all 3 from Cal

Zadorov isnt worth anything more than a 3rd and Devils clear the leafs in propsects so no they cant. You clearly want the leafs to over pay

Brad Lambert’s a Top Prospect, Lindholm is the real deal, so you started off fine, but Schmidt has negative value and I don’t see any compensation for taking his back and the flames would want him anyways. How bout:

1st + Lambert + Ehlers FOR Lindholm + Dube + Stromgren!?

Add a 2nd and retain on Hanifin to match Faksa’s Cap Hit. Lian Bischel or Stankoven would be better than the 1st though and I’d see if we can get Dellandrea instead of the 2nd, even if we have to throw something additional back

Dube’s value is closer to what you think Zadorov’s is = 3rd+. He’d really have to up his game and start producing a ton more before he’ll be worth a 2nd again

Fair Value for Tanev, but VAN likely doesn’t want to move Myers now, they’ll want to send Beauvillier or Garland and they’ll also try to come up with something other than giving up a 1st, like maybe 2x 2nds and change instead: Brzustewicz + Raty + I’d like to see one or both Jett Woo and Akito Hirose come back to Calgary as well, even if we need to add a piece in addition to Tanev. This might appeal more to CGY than a TOR 1st too, but it’s pretty much certain that’s already on the table if not.

Who said or where can you point out that Tanev doesn’t want to be in CGY!? Maybe he doesn’t want to return to VAN!? We’re Trading Tanev regardless, but I haven’t heard or seen anything indicating Tanev has said he wants out other than a generic tweet that Zadorov might not be the only one considering a change of scenery, which is very vague and could apply to any Flame Player

You wanna pay a 3rd + 5th, go inquire about Old, Slow, No Offence, Goon’s & Pylon’s like Luke Schenn, Zach Bogosian, Joel Edmundson, Erik/Jack Johnson, Marc Staal, Robert Bortuzzo or inquire about Logan Stanley, Ben Harpur, Jared Tinordi, Phillippe Myers, Dylan McIlrath, Keaton Middleton, Jaykob Megna or Josh Brown, all of whom are nowhere near the level of Big-Z, who btw is in the Top-10 for scoring of all the Big D-Men (6’4+ 205lbw+) and with substantially less TOI at that

And you're correct I have not seen alot of him to judge but it's not worth Jersey to give up our best prospect (Casey in this instance) for a couple of months of Zads. If not, a 2nd/Salminen + Bahl + 3rd/C.Foote would be fine for Zadorov 50% retained for me. He’s wanting a long-term contract, so just sign him.
