What would be your ask from NJ for Ryan McLeod? Would Tyce Thompson and a 3rd get it done? Would love both McLeod brothers on the Devils. Would be hard to play against

Lots to talk about here.

1. None of these trades need to be made, Edmontons current roster gets them to the playoffs they just had a ridiculously bad slump to start the year but they're gonna be ok. Now if this team has cup winning aspirations a trade for a top-4 d-man and a bonafide 3C are needed.

2.Nashville rejects, they aren't going to retain on Saros a n d take on campbell. I don't think they ever retain on Saros, it would have to be a campbell dump which takes two 1sts + whatever it takes to get saros which is also equivalent to two 1sts.

3. Seattle also rejects, Mcleod has been AHL to start the year and Gourde is a middle 6 level player. They also will one million percent not retain on him

4.Edmonton easily rejects this one, Kane is the heart and soul of the team (proven by last night), he's also just a much better player than Bertuzzi. If Edmonton wants to win in the playoffs keeping a guy like Kane who can come through in the clutch is needed. Would be a terrible decision to move on from him

5.Canucks laugh you away, Hoglander is the perfect 3rd line piece that can still grow and Ceci is a cap dump that will take a 3rd to move on from

6.Both teams reject (Montreal more so), Edmonton doesn't want to have to deal with Price and Montreal could get much more value out of Savard, Monahan and Harris. Foegele is also a really solid 3rd liner that Edmonton needs, just an unnecessary move that neither team wants

7.Again no clue why this even needs to be done but the Blues reject pretty easily the value is just off here

The value is probably a bit off but Kevin Bahl would be a great fit on the bottom pair for Edmonton to replace Desharnais. Don't know where Devils fans stand oh him but I'd be interested

I only see that package to NSH being intriguing to them if this is at the deadline, and EDM is clearly a strong contender to win the draft lottery. If that's the case, I don't see why EDM would be trading for Saros & Fabbro.

Otherwise, there isn't enough quality here for NSH to trade both Saros and Fabbro, tie up their last retention spot for this year and next, and take on Campbell's contract.

Right now, I would say that Bahl is untouchable unless another shutdown dman was coming back the other way. The Devils have played poorly in their own zone and trading Bahl would only make matters worse

I'm not gonna go as hard as the other guy did but Kane is simply just a much better player

I don't know where you got that Bertuzzi number from but Bertuzzi's career numbers are .67 ppg with his best season being .91, while Kane's career numbers sit at .68 with his best season being .91 as well.

Now if we are talking whose better at what they do, both take dumb penalties but Kane has a much more physical presence who also is a much better "energy" guy.

Based on their goal scoring abilities

Projected 30 Goal Seasons
Kane: 8
Bertuzzi: 1

Not close at all on who the better goal scorer is. Also regarding the idea on kane being a 'Cancer" Kane has been nothing but a fantastic leader in Edmonton who has came through for the team in tough times (last night being an example) yeah he's had issues but I'm not going to let a gambling addiction and his ex-wife being the worst person on earth discredit every good deed he's done in Edmonton. The Kane being a "cancer" narrative has been dead for a while.

Kane is also signed long-term to a really solid deal while Bertuzzi will want top money this offseason.

Kane is a much better asset

why bring up playoff stats then!!?

"kanes way better in the playoffs" brings up stats, " no no no hes only played 10 games you cant do that" tears of joy love the goal post moving

yes he is signed for 1 year, very good you know how to use this site, like i said bert is also 4 years younger and thats big considering the physciality type of kane and him regress at kanes age, lets also not pretend the best player on the planet doesnt impact kane

Canucks easily decline. Wouldn’t give up FC’s for Ceci and his contract at this point, certainly not giving up a young promising forward in Hoglander for him.
