Lots to talk about here.
1. None of these trades need to be made, Edmontons current roster gets them to the playoffs they just had a ridiculously bad slump to start the year but they're gonna be ok. Now if this team has cup winning aspirations a trade for a top-4 d-man and a bonafide 3C are needed.
2.Nashville rejects, they aren't going to retain on Saros a n d take on campbell. I don't think they ever retain on Saros, it would have to be a campbell dump which takes two 1sts + whatever it takes to get saros which is also equivalent to two 1sts.
3. Seattle also rejects, Mcleod has been AHL to start the year and Gourde is a middle 6 level player. They also will one million percent not retain on him
4.Edmonton easily rejects this one, Kane is the heart and soul of the team (proven by last night), he's also just a much better player than Bertuzzi. If Edmonton wants to win in the playoffs keeping a guy like Kane who can come through in the clutch is needed. Would be a terrible decision to move on from him
5.Canucks laugh you away, Hoglander is the perfect 3rd line piece that can still grow and Ceci is a cap dump that will take a 3rd to move on from
6.Both teams reject (Montreal more so), Edmonton doesn't want to have to deal with Price and Montreal could get much more value out of Savard, Monahan and Harris. Foegele is also a really solid 3rd liner that Edmonton needs, just an unnecessary move that neither team wants
7.Again no clue why this even needs to be done but the Blues reject pretty easily the value is just off here
