Montreal is not trading Ghule, if you think they would, you are wrong.

I don't. But they do have a plethora of elite talent on the left side. They're good now, but still have Hutson, Engstrom and Trudeau in the pipeline (Struble is making a case too).

Just thought it was a new idea, trading a great young D for a great young power winger. Both teams get a win but if it doesn't work it doesn't work.

You're right, Montreal has a bunch of talented young LHD, however, Ghule is at the top of that list, better than Engstrom, Trudeau, Struble, Norlinder, and even Hutson (As of now). This trade moves the team backwards, waiting on unready defenseman to step up before they're ready.

Getting stuck with Anderson's contract isn't worth the return.

The Jets have zero need for any LHD so Calgary would be better served trading Zadorov elsewhere.
