Chabot was playing the right side, because Chychrun preferred not to play right.

The solution, presented here, is to trade for another LD. And do so by trading one of the Sens top C. Keeping in mind that one of the Sens C is suspended for half the season, and Greig is playing in his rookie season, and likely to hit the wall like many rookies do.

This trade is very suboptimal and doesn't "stop the bleeding"
