Its wild to me to think that Kempe gets left off this list. Only Pasta Ovi Rantanen and Roberston had more goals than him last season meaning he had more goals then the other 16 players on this list and he gets left out.
As an added bonus the guy gets paid almost half of what all these other guys make.
Pasta too low and kaprizov over Marner is certainly an interesting take nylander also 2 spots too low
Pasta IS too low. But Kaprizov has been better than Marner since he came into the league.
He was on pace for over 50 goals last year until Logan Stanley decided to play London Bridge is falling down and injured him, knocking him out of the final month of the regular season.

Kempe had a good year. But let's pump the brakes on him for right now. He'll need to have another year like last one before he should even be considered for this list.
Every player on this list has had at minimum 2 seasons of back to back upper level production. Solidifying their positions as the best in the league. Kempe to date has had only one. Either he proves it again, or it's just a career year from him.

Saying Marner is better is purely Leafs bias.
And also ignoring quality of linemates. Marner has a legit top 6 center on his line, while Kaprizov has Hartman typically as his center. The Wild were so desperate they gave him Sam Steel as his center for a brief time last year.

The year prior Kempe had 35 goals and last year 41 goals I'd that's back to back upper level production. The year he scored 35 there were 12 guys on this list ahead of him in scoring and last year with 41 he only had 4 of these guys ahead of him in scoring. To summarize Kempe had 24 guys ahead of him in scoring the year he scored 35, 11 of those guys were centers 13 (one of them was Kyle Connor who is not on the list) of them were wingers. Last year Kempe had 41 with 8 centers ahead of him in scoring and 4 wingers. So if you're basing in on a minimum of 2 solid seasons of production he's definitely done that.
