Also, righty vs lefty doesn’t matter on the wing. Especially with the style of play for NJD’s top-9. If anything, with a possession style team which carries puck into o-zone, you’d want guys on their off-hand (like lefty Bratt playing RW, righty Toffoli playing LW).

Unfortunately he didn't get a cakewalk spot bc of his team's ****ty depth. Competing with Reaves, Minten, Gregor, and an 18 year old who wasn't even a top 7 player on his own OHL team last year.

Holtz remains a top tier prospect to Devils fans. Unfortunately, the rest of the hockey fanbase doesn't view a prospect who's struggled to translate his AHL game to the NHL as a blue chip anymore. It's a make or break season for him to be calling him a "top tier prospect"
