A NHL team is a serious business, it's a billion dollar business. They have capologists, etc

Dorion knew what he had in front of him in advance. He chose to sign MacEwen to a 3 years 1 way contract, Hamonic to a 2 years with a NMC but more importantly Korpisalo and Tarasenko. Knowing we needed money for Pinto, the choices were made, just can't afford Kubalik. How come he was had in the DeBrincat trade? How come he was not traded right away then? How come he played in training camp? It's not that we don't want him, it's that there's no spot for him on the cap and on the PP.
