EDIT) Hughes and co. have been adamant about starting the season with Price not on LTIR (to maximize the relief). I think this is one way to do it. It will also help give more opportunities to some of the kids.

Trade 1) Montembeault needs a new deal and Tampa needs a goalie (urgently). I think this benefits the player more than the team but it also is in the best interest of Primeau (who I think is the better goalie long term). If Montembeault stays on the habs and falters, no fan will want to keep him, but if he stays and steals games, they will be mad that we aren't bad enough. Giving him a real shot in Tampa for two months will benefit him on whether he's a starter, he'll then be able to sign a big contract come free agency. I added Kovy because he makes under league min for the next two years and he's a good 6/7 D and a righty. Bringing Myers the other way is just to make the cap work + Tampa wasn't using him. Alone, I think Montembeault could garner a 2nd and a lower pick but due to us giving them a better D and cap relief, two 2nds seem fair (on top of the retention).
