They’re pretty much carried by Stutzle, Tkachuk , Sanderson with strong high end players in Chabot, Chychrun, Giroux, Norris, Batherson, Tarasenko etc .
They should be in a strong position for a playoff spot
Don't sell them short because of all thesse trolls
Sens have 3 Number #1 D-men (Sanderson, Chychrun, Chabot) and 5 first liners (Stutzle, Tkachuk, Norris, Norris, Batherson)
What is crazy is that Tarasenko depending on his health could still be considered a 1st liner (paced for 90 pts in 2021-22)
Edit : lol just realized I already posted something like that. I had left the windown opened but it was to answer someone else

So the management that assembled and the coaching that developed that "sick" top 6 and top 4 are terrible?
Dorian and the people he put in place have acquired every player on this team. DJ and his staff have developed them. It's not easy. Just look at teams that whiff on top picks, or even 1OA, because either it was a misjudgment of talent or development.
I don't get fans that say those two are the worst yet praise the product they created. The mental gymnastics they must do to justify that DJ and PD have nothing to do with it.
Are they the best? Nope. But they certainly aren't the worst. I don't see which elite coach is currently available that is miles better than DJ. Shoulda made a play for Cassidy when he was available, but alas, the Melnyk estate would not have ponied up the money for him. And looking at the coaches that were hired this off season, my guess is that not many elite coaches were available.
It would took verrrrrry long to explain. Dorion did some good stuff but the Sens have a bright future IN SPITE of Dorion's blunders and continuous mismanagement. The thing is most people don't realize the prospect pool and assets he started with when the rebuild started. I could explain everything but that would take some time...
Look at where most of the pieces we have came from, either from a lottery pick or from a trade from our assets from the previous regime. Also, Trent Mann, the key executive for our drafting this whole time, was hired by Bryan Murray in 2011
