If both players want to stay, I say, keep them!

It's not worth moving Hellebuyck for Krebs and filler. I like Krebs, but he hasn't done anything to have that kind of value.

Winnipeg isn't adding to downgrade Scheifele for a year. That's silly.

It’s interesting. I wouldn’t want Logan Stanley if you gave him to me for free, but my guess is some would value him. To me, there are AHL defenseman out there that are better and cheaper.

Krebs would seem to be interesting value for Hellebuyck if you are intent not to sign Hellebuyck.

If I were a Winnipeg fan, I would hope they would sign both Scheifele and Hellebuyck even if it is for a year or two longer than I’d normally want. Ultimately, I wouldn’t have much faith about Winnipeg’s attractiveness as a FA destination.
