Can’t see Nylander being traded unless it comes with an extension. Doesn’t make sense for rebuilding teams to give up valuable assets for one year of any player.

CHI isn't going to trade for Nylander. There is a chance they might have interest in him in free agency, but even that is a stretch in my opinion. He'll be 28 next year, he wants 8 figures, and he probably wants serious term, none of which are things CHI should be interested in doing.

And Nylander gets hurt , is unable to play or be traded and the Hawks have given up a 1st round pick and Del Mastro for nothing.
