Would need retention on Boeser to make it worthwhile.

I don't think trading for Nylander is a good idea for Vancouver. We're not really in a position to be giving up prospects or draft picks and Nylander will want to get paid on his next contract which would put us back in salary cap hell.

Leafs are better than year with Nylander. Leafs would rather be "cap free" next season rather than have Boesner on the books for two seasons.

And somehow turn Boeser into a good player. He is a pylon who can't do anything beyond PP work and ozone starts.

Great fit for the Leafs tho who have play drivers and could benefit from another sniper to put with Domi/Bertuzzi/Marner

The all three lines would have a top 30 passer and top 30 shooter. Add a two way forward to each line and you'd easily have the most threatening top 9 in the NHL

One more year of Boeser and also a top prospect and young bottom 6 winger.

Willy is better but you can't pretend his shot is as good as Boeser.

My point is that **** might be more valuable to a team that in the playoffs has dominated analytically but can't seem to score.

I don't think Nylander makes the Canucks a cup contender and his next contract would limit the teams ability to address the other areas of deficiency.

One of those two players has actually scored 40 goals in a season. Yeah I'd say his shot is better.

And Boeser has 4 career playoff goals in 17 games.

Boeser and Nylander have identical goals per game numbers Nylander is 177g 521gms boeser is 139g 398gms total per game 0.34 oddly enough
