I’d rather run 11-7 until we run into a problem like an injury or whatever. Also that’s a massive overpay for steel.

Why would you trade jarnkork? He’s very good jetfoil replacement, can score, play defence, play on the pk, he’s fast, has a good shot, can check. This is what leafs need and you’re trading him??

Remove both prospects from that Sam Steel package and it might be fair.

Also... The Leafs are already cap compliant. They don't need to make any moves, outside of sending guys to the AHL/Waivers.

Pens situation is an easy fix. Waive Pitlick, Johnsson makes the roster, $220k under the cap to start the season.
