Okay I know that Power if going to be a great player, but so will Jiricek. You would also be in getting two firsts which could become even more good players. I don’t know just my thoughts . Want to know why you wouldn’t do it

Okay. Good point but Jiricek is very close to being an NHLer. Maybe they don’t do it know, but who knows maybe 5 years from now they would. I will definitely bookmark this and see how well it ages 5 years from now

Not too interested in the Power trade, for the reason that Jiricek has 2 extra years of being dirt cheap, which is super valuable and something CBJ will probably need if they have any hopes of competing in 24-25 or 25-26. Value is fair, maybe even slightly in BUF favor, but that extra 2 years of ELC left is big and offsets it.

Beniers/Fantilli is interesting. Fantilli's ceiling is certainly higher imo, but Beniers already showing that he can be a high level contributor at the NHL level is super nice. Not something Fantilli has shown yet.

That's not a swap the Kraken would make. For as good of a prospect as Fantilli is, Beniers has already established himself as a burgeoning number one center and is poised to continue his upward trajectory in the years to come. Plus, for a Seattle club that vaulted into contention in their second year, Beniers fits the team better as the superior current option. The Kraken are perfectly happy with their current franchise pivot.

How about Matt Savoie for David Jiricek

jiricek is far, far, FAR more valuable than savoie.
